2011 Registration for Violin Lessons
Location: Private lessons are at 3912 Woods Blvd.. Group lessons on Monday nights are at Engel Hall on the Union College campus. Summer location for group and dates TBA.
Fees: All students who wish to secure a spot for lessons will be required to pay a $80 registration fee ($100 for families where there is more than one student). Students who register for lessons after January will pay $50. After May registration is $25. Students may pay for their lessons for the school year or by the semester. The first semester goes until the 2nd week of January. Registration fee is due the first week of August in order to secure a lesson time. (For students who are at Suzuki Book 4 level or above or who are more than 10 years old, a 45-minute lesson is recommended): NOTICE: These are new rates starting August 29th, 2011.

The semester rate is the same for each semester. This is on a basis of 36 lessons over the nine month period, allowing for four holidays during that time – one for Thanksgiving, two for Christmas and one in the spring. Summer lessons allow for flexible scheduling with 6, 7 and 8 lessons.
Missed and Canceled Lessons: During the school year, missed lessons will be charged for. One lesson missed due to illness will be made up, per semester, according to the need of the student and the time available. Lessons missed for other reasons may or may not be made up depending on available time. If a lesson must be canceled, please call 402-421-9161 as soon as possible. Lessons I must miss will be made up or the cost refunded. Extra time given before recitals or other performances will be considered make-up time, as will occasional instances when I can run overtime if the student’s concentration will allow and there is no inconvenience to the family’s schedule. In addition, group lesson time where the student is the only one in attendance will count toward make up lesson time.
Graduation & Recital Information: Studio recitals are held twice a year; all students are encouraged to sign up to perform a memorized solo. Suzuki Graduation Recitals are in May.
Holiday Breaks: Labor Day (Monday only) Thanksgiving (Thursday through Saturday) Christmas (Two weeks) Spring Break (Monday through Wednesday) Memorial Day (Monday only) Summer Break: August 7th – August 27th.

Hi Lisa, Molly is interested in picking up her violin again. Yeah! I don’t know if you still come to Omaha, but as a high schooler she could do something like every other week or when you are here. She wants to be able to do groups at school. Hope all is well. Hope this gets to you – this is my current emailed. Tracy
