Students who wish to secure a spot for lessons in the fall will be required to pay an $80 registration fee ($110 for families where there is more than one student). Registration is pro-rated for students who begin in the middle of the year. Registration and tuition is non refundable.
Parents who are interested in violin lessons for their student should plan on attending Parent Orientation. Contact Lisa Watkins at 421-9161 about attending the next Parent Orientation session.

2009-10 Group Lesson Information:
Group Lesson / Performances Class will resume September 21st and be held at the following location:
Union College, Engel Hall, 48th & Bancroft (southeast corner), 2nd floor, choir room.
Beginning Group Lessons: Monday night, 6:30-7:15 p.m. No group lessons on the following dates: January 18th, March 22nd, April 5th, May 3rd.
Advanced Group Ensemble: Monday night, 7:15-8:30 p.m. No group lessons on the following dates: January 18th, March 22nd, April 5th, May 3rd.

On July 30th, 2009 the Lincoln Summer Youth Ensembel performed at the Foundation Gardens in downtown Lincoln.

Students are invited to perform in recitals which are held each semester. Recitals are held at Union College in Engel Recital Hall at 48th & Bancroft on the 2nd floor. Sign up at your lesson.
May 3rd, 2009 Spring Recital Participants
Other recitals that students may perform in are hosted by Lincoln Music Teacher’s Association. A spring recital will be held on Sunday, May 4th at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Community Evangelical Church, 6843 South Street. There is a small fee of $2.50 per student. There is also an Honor Recital after Festival on Saturday, May 17th for any student who earns a “1″ rating at the Festival. No charge for the Honor Recital.

Suzuki GraduationĂ‚Â
All students are invited to perform in Lincoln Suzuki Talent Education’s Graduation Celebration on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at O’Donnell Auditorium on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University, 50th & Huntington Street. Rehearsal for graduation will be Friday, May 16th at Berean Church, 70th & Highway 2. The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
4:00 p.m.: Bach A Minor Concerto, 1st Mvt., La Folia, Bach Double, Vivaldi Concerto in G Minor: 1st Mvt., Vivaldi Concerto in A Minor: 1st Mvt.
4:30 p.m.: Bach Bourree, Martini Gavotte, Handel Bourree
4:45 p.m. Gossec Gavotte, Andantino, Go Tell Aunt Rhody, Twinkles, Monkey & Flower Song
